The Basics ~ Life Usually Starts From a Seed.
It all starts with the process of germination, which provides you with control over the range of tropical plants and trees planted at your nursery. If you visit any famous tropical plant nursery around the country, you can see that many of them believe in the tempting potential of those beautiful seeds those tropical trees or plants produce, and try to germinate them; usually finding success.

It is always said that whatever plant you choose to have in your tropical plant nursery, start from the fresh seed. And the seeds of tropical plants, especially the larger trees can be collected as soon as it is ripened, or when the fruit is showing some color or in certain cases has fallen freshly from the tree or plants. Indeed fresh seeds produce and guarantee good results.

Some seeds however may pose a threat to our skin and health, such as some royal palms and fishtail palms. Be particularly careful when germinating them as they contain irritants that can aggravate your skin.





Growing Room
Usually once they have grown, these plants are transferred to clay pots, because clay pots naturally provide better ventilation for proper root development, which is very essential for tropical plants. The highest quality of soil is used, and usually imported from tropical countries such as Myanmar, India, Brazil, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia and Thailand.

Dampness is a very important aspect when it comes to having a good tropical plant nursery, because practically all the plants need a very high level of dampness, both in the air as well as the soil. The same conditions apply to the light and moisture as well.
